Despite the self-deprecating title, Charlie Montgomery's autobiography--a gift to his family and friends--is a fascinating, funny, and inspiring story. Look how the picture of 10-year-old farm boy Charlie has almost the same expression as the grown-up businessman.

This is a very simple and elegant design for the church's 150th anniversary history book. The cover is sky blue cloth with gold foil embossed type. The photo of the "circuit rider" from one of the church's stained glass windows is a gloss color label applied to a debossed area within the foil-stamped frame.

It's admittedly a little busy, but so is the town of Argyle, Texas! This book contains dozens of photos and the personal recollections of members of Argyle pioneer families--and in one case, a pioneer herself!

This interesting family history contains dozens of photographs, some dating back into the nineteenth century. We used some of them on the cover (front and back) as well. Note the sinuous pattern in the background behind the text: that is a digital "sample" from a photo of the ceremonial robes of one of the African chiefs pictured in the book.

This is an inspirational book about how couples can deal with meddling in-laws--the title comes from the concept of "double-minded in-laws." The photo collage is made up of elements from stock photography. "You really nailed it," the author told Crystal when she saw the design.

This interesting family history contains dozens of photographs dating back to the early 20th Century. We used some of them on the back cover as well. The background is a Rand-McNally map dating from the 1930s showing the Texas counties traveled by covered wagon by the author's grandparents.

Crystal used Photoshop to convert a stock photo into a pastel sketch and added title graphics in complementary colors.
